PDA's 20th Anniversary with Mimi Kennedy

Let's look at 20 years of organizing progress -- On the Wings of Peace and Love

Progressive Democrats of America, PDA, celebrates 20 years of making a difference. From helping elect new progressive leaders to convincing Sen. Bernie Sanders to make a run for the presidency, PDA is an active force in our political environment. PDA does its work with a small, dedicated and underpaid staff and legions of volunteers in nearly every Congressional district in the nation.

This episode of Positively Progressive features an interview with Mimi Kennedy, author, actor and activist, who was there in Roxbury, MA, outside the DNC National Convention in 2004 when PDA was launched. Enjoy a wonderful discussion about then and now with two women who are friends and who are committed to helping make the future more just for all of us.

We will feature longtime PDA leaders, staffers and volunteers during our run up to the November 2024 election along with candidates and elected officials who inspire us to going and keep growing.
